Prepare the legs. Use a 1/2 inch x 3 inch bar wood which has been treated with a preservative such as polyurethane. You will need eight pieces cut 27 inches long. Prepare sprinkles. Cut four pieces of one-of-two-inch barrowed. Allow 3 inches of overhang on each end. Cut the slats to the desired length. For this example, cut them to 60 inches or 5 meters long. In this way, more people can sit or a person lying down on the deck box bench.

Place the splines and cross beams flat on the ground and start mounting. Use the carpenter’s glue first, and then use a clamp to hold them together. Connect the legs of the crossbar first, keeping your legs 15 to 18 inches apart in two rows. Use galvanized screw or nail. Connect the spikes on the legs and cross bars to complete the deck box bench. Leave at least 1 inch of space between each lamella. Use galvanized screw or nail. Paint the spades and sprinkle with white paint (or wood preservatives or bets). Use an outdoor type of paint or surface to withstand the weather and wind. Allow the bench to dry before using. Apply more paint or bats until you get the desired look and finish.

Tips and warnings

Add pillows to soften the look and make it more comfortable to sit people. Build two benches for additional seating at larger gatherings. You can disassemble them or connect them to an L-shaped bench to save space.
